Cool app, great sleep functionality, a few bugs...
**Adding to my review below***
I would like to see when you rotate in horizontal mode, the ability to not zoom the image of the clock, but rather refresh with a new, crisp image of the clock. Right now it appears blurry in widescreen mode compared to portrait.
I really like this app, except for a few things.
1) There needs to be direct control over physical screen brightness (which had to be manually set under Settings) through the SDK (not the developers fault) however, once that is available, that needs to be in there. This would be a solid 5-Star app if that were the case. This point does not affect my rating, more of a general note to people looking to buy this.
2) The "nightlight" feature is nothing special, albeit kind of cool, but could use something even a bit less "bright" than black text and white background. Users should be able to edit this setting.
3) I noticed that when I launch the program (Im using 2.2), and adjust the settings for Date and Day display, that they get a weird blocky look, where the area that should be the date, is a solid block of color. Hard to describe, but it seems to be a glitch.
Other than those three things, its a fantastic program as an alarm. The snooze button being the size of the screen is the best feature in my opinion. If only there way a way to adjust brightness of the iPhone directly from within the app (or have it automatically do it) per the SDK some day, would be amazing. I am giving this 4 stars because of the glitch I found, and the nightlight not being editable. Hopefully in a few release, you will be able to adjust the nightlight colors, and SDK will open up the brightness control for bedside use.
