This is the only alarm clock I have seen where you dont need to be fully conscious to use it, there is no snooze button you need to find when half awake. You tap nearly anywhere on the screen and it snoozes for a custom amount of time. Hit the home button when you actually want to wake up. This is the way a touch screen alarm clock should work.

Ill keep it

Im a little disappointed that with the first update the snooze suddenly stopped working. But in general its the simplest, best designed alarm clock app Ive seen. My favorite features: - Use a ringtone for the alarm (especially nice if you create a custom one in Garage Band) - Great flexibility in sizing and positioning the numbers - Its been pretty reliable for me (except for having the snooze suddenly stop working, of course).

generally works well.

I started with the free version of this app which works pretty well except for the irritating ads which also burn thru your data allotment. The pay version works well enough; Ive tried several competitors, and mainly I used them as a night clock when traveling. Surprisingly, most hotels dont have illuminated clocks, so if you wake up early you would have to fumble for your iPhone to figure out the time. For that purpose, it is absolutely essential that the screen is easily dimmable (in a dark room the clock numbers are too much at full brightness), and this is one of the clocks which does allow you to dim the screen, although not with much precision. Also you can pretty easily increase the size of the numbers so that you can see it from across the room in the dark. It would be nice if this was a bit easier to resize, but at least it is doable, which is not the case with all of the competitors. Also, there is a bug in that once you dim the clock and then exit the app the brightness of the iPhone as whole is less than full. To solve this you have to go into the brightness setting and fiddle a bit; not difficult but it should be unnecessary.

Mehhh

Well I used the free version for a while, the only difference is the ad!

Quit working...

Well I have used this app for years, always liked it and all of a sudden there is no sound coming through the alarm... I have tried unsuccessfully several times to contact the developer to which there is no reply... Very disappointing... And sad waste of money!

Cool but limited

Cool-loading personal pics/music and adjusting calendar size. Limited-can only set one alarm and not multiple, no remaining time to sleep counter, no repeating alarm (days of the week).

Glow

The app pretty much works as billed but the background screen has a distinctive glow even when the text is dimmed very low. In a dark room its like sleeping under a streetlight. Perhaps its a limitation of the iPhone but regardless its obnoxious.
